Tifton, GA, JANUARY 15, 2010: Stafford Hospitality is pleased to announce that Esther Gayfield has been named its chief operating officer. Esther is responsible for overseeing all operational, marketing and brand initiatives for Stafford Hospitality.
Per DeNean Stafford, chief executive officer of Stafford Development, “Esther brings together a wide range of skills and leadership that are invaluable. With her leadership and dedicated team, we will successfully manage through the challenges in the hospitality industry.”
Esther began her career with La Quinta Inns, where she was named the brand’s first franchise general manager of the year in 2003. During her career, she managed a variety of branded hotels including Marriott, Hampton and Holiday Inn. Esther gained valuable experience working with boutique motels as well as managing the pre-opening of a four-star timeshare resort. Prior to her new position, Esther worked with Stafford Hospitality implementing sales and marketing initiatives as well as conducting training.
