BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Matthew Rizai was the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, President and a director of Engineering Animation, Inc. (EAI) from June 1990 until October 2000. EAI is a leader in internet-enabled visual process management, collaboration, analysis and communication solutions for extended manufacturing enterprises. Under Matt’s leadership, the company went public in February 1996. EAI was acquired in October, 2000 for $205 million by Unigraphics Solutions (NYSE: UGS). Prior to EAI, Matt was an analyst at ARCH Development Corporation, a senior research engineer at General Motors Corp., and a development engineer at Ford Motor Co. Matt also co-founded Computer Aided Design Software, Inc. in 1983. Matt earned a doctorate in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business. He resides in Chicago with his children. |
