The Stafford Foundation

The STAFFORD FOUNDATION was founded in 1996 by Flora and the late DeNean Stafford, Jr. of Tifton, Georgia, to support and benefit Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Foundation, Inc. and other charitable or educational organizations in Tift County and other communities in which the Stafford family have or has had substantial interests.

Mr. and Mrs. Stafford have supported cultural, educational and economic activities which promote the quality of life in areas where they have lived and engaged in business, and the primary mission of the foundation is to perpetuate and expand such support through management and distribution of intervivos and testamentary gifts from themselves, the Stafford Companies, and others.

Without limiting the scope of activities of the foundation, the founders encourage the directors to consider projects and programs which will promote a public appreciation and enjoyment of the arts, economic growth and educational opportunities.
